We use it to secure our 2yr old German shepherd dog in the corner of our family room on occasions… I secured it with a stainless steel eye screw in the 2×4 stud behind base moulding… A short shock absorbing dog bungee extender attached from the eye screw to the 5ft cable a must and helps greatly… However, the plastic coating on the cable, my dog likes to chew…

I needed a chew proof lead that I could attach to a hook in my barn when I bring my puppy out with me as I care for my horse and keep her safe from being accidentally kicked or stepped on. The hand loop can be removed and the lead then hooked to a wall mounted clip to keep my pup safe and visible, and away from my horse. It also works great as a “umbilical” cord to attach to me in the house, keep my pup close and out of trouble. Thank you for a versatile and wonderful product.

Using to help train/reinforce dogs learning stay and place. They were chewing through nylon leashes while sitting on their beds in “Place”. It matches the description.

I have 2 dogs. Both chewed off every nylon leash we tried. And chain leashes were simply too heavy. This coated cable is perfect, durable, safe. READ ON FOR JUST HOW SAFE. My two 75lb dogs bolted through the door and down the street. Only 1 was leashed. This was NOT PLANNED. This could have ended very badly. But, I was able to catch my leashed boy. Because of the design of this leash,I was able to tether both and pull them home safely. This leash has steel caribeaners at both ends, along with steel clips: (the soft but durable handle has a steel clip). I was able to detach the handle from the caribeaner, which allowed me to clip on to the 2nd dog. The detachable handle was then clipped to the leash itself and I regained control of both dogs. This leash literally prevented irreversible tragedy. I will FOREVER promote this product. I am grateful to have stumbled on this product years ago. Our dog trainer also promotes this leash as she learned of it from working with our dogs. AMEN for this product. I’m now sitting safely in my back yard with my 2 (naughty)dogs. AMEN.
