I love love this! It’s a good length and the leather is the perfect thickness for comfort. Overall the construction is durable but my favorite part is the clip!I like that you can lock it on and not have to worry about it coming unclipped. It’s also very nicely made and has that satisfying feel (I hate how some leashes have crunchy feeling trigger clips).Overall it looks very nice. The only thing I will say, is that you should be aware of how tall your dog is and where you plan on clipping it (collar vs harness) if you plan on using this with a normal leash. With my border collie, if I let go of it when I don’t need her super close to me (hands free walking or while I’m holding our longer leash) it often gets caught on her feet if it’s clipped to her collar. If it’s on her harness it’s not an issue. This isn’t anything against the leash itself, it’s just something to think about logistically when deciding the purpose of the leash.

This is very heavy duty leather and it works great if you just need a handle lead. We have been using it for training and it has been so useful. Easy to clip on and feels secure.

The leather traffic leash is the perfect size for keeping my service dog close. It is very durable, with a clasp that locks in place. I’m pleased with the quality of the leather. I have a large great Pyrenees that loves me to get his leather short leash out.

Very well made, clip is secure and leather is supple – easy on the hand. The only thing is that it’s long enough that my 1yr old GSD has put one of his front paws through the loop, I cannot let go of it for a second. He’s a big boy, so it’s not because he’s small. If it was 2 inches shorter I would give it 5 stars.

Not sure if it’s referred to a a drop lead but that’s what I call it. I use this around the house on my year old Husky/GSD so he’s reminded that whether he likes it or not, *I’m always there*. He thinks he’s on a leash. Nice craftsmanship, sturdy, has held up well to hourly use. He’s not stupid, he’s just stubborn.

I bought this product to have close control on my malinois when around our clinic cat. The clasp and leather are both well made and I do not worry about it failing even if he pulls. The locking mechanism is nice too so you don’t get an accidental release.10/10 recommend

The clip is heavy. This is not a problem if you’re holding the leash. However, if you’re using this as a backup and letting it hang there off the collar, its pretty hefty. The good news is that this leash uses Chicago screws, as opposed to rivets, so you can replace the clip with whatever you prefer. Also, the leather is sturdy yet soft, a rare combination.
