10 reviews for Educator Belt/Saddle/Purse Quick-Release Transmitter Holder for Educator Remote Dog Training Collars,Black

I use this product every day but in less than a year I had to order another one. The connection point that goes into the saddle becomes week with time and breaks off. Other than that it is very useful and I like it because I use it every day with my service dog

Great belt clip. It gives me access to the buttons as the transmitter will swivel. Stays on my belt just great. Some reviews mentioned that the screw didn’t stay in place. I have not had that problem, but for safety I did attach a stretchy cord to the transmitter and clip the cord to my belt loop. This serves two purposes. Should the screw fail the transmitter won’t hit the floor and when I release the transmitter from this belt clip should my fumbling hands fail the transmitter won’t hit the floor. It’s a win win! The transmitter is easy to release with just a push of the top button and sliding it out of the clip. When sliding back into the clip it will snap when in securely. It’s a very thoughtful design. Some reviews thought it was cheaply made, but unless you are a gorilla I think the quality is just fine. Nothing against gorillas, mind you, but it would be like using a cooked strand of spaghetti as a Pit Bull leash and claiming the spaghetti was cheap quality when it broke.

I bought this beltclip a few weeks ago to use on a Mini Educator ET-300. While it does let you keep the remote on your belt, it has a few design flaws. Even if you tighten the screw that attaches the mount to the ET-300, after a short time the screw backs out and the remote falls to the ground. This has happened on numerous occasions even after checking the screw – within a couple of hours. I finally grew tired of this and applied some Permatex Threadlock Orange. The orange Permatex is high strength but is removable. The only positive thing is that if the screw backs out it will not fall out unless you remove the mount from the beltclip. The beltclip features a pushbutton release that lets you remove the remote, while the clip remains attached to your belt. If you move just right and apply pressure to that release button, the remote can unlock and fall to the ground. The only fix I’ve found for this is to move the beltclip more to your side, rather than in front near your left or right pocket.

This does exactly what it says – clips your e-leash remote in a convenient spot on your clothes. The lanyard allows the unit to swing and bang into my chest when I’m walking, so this is much better.

The second time I used this, the screw came out and I lost the piece that connects everything together. I saw others mention this issue but I thought I’d take my chances. Bad idea.Other reviews also mentioned that the unit broke and I could see that happening as soon as the unit snags on something. Two stars because it wasn’t worth $10 to use it twice. More than one star because it’s a clever and useful product and if it held together would definitely be worth it. [final update: ordered this twice and both times it was done for within the first or second use for two different reasons – down to one star since even though it’s a great idea, it’s not designed well and will quickly be a waste of money]First Update: Contacted the seller to see if they could send the small plastic part I lost when the screw came out. They could not, but offered to refund my purchase instead. Pretty solid customer service, but this rating is about the product.I’m going to re-order and this time, use thread lock as some others have mentioned. If it works, I’ll be back to add another star. You shouldn’t have to buy and use thread lock to prevent the issue, but if it works, the holder is quite useful.Second Update: On first use, the Educator popped right out of the holder hit the ground. Guess what? The little plastic piece broke!! So that’s two times I’ve ordered, and both times, the product became useless on the first or second use. It’s a great idea, but you will quickly be throwing it out (broken or lost pieces) or ordering another one.

I purchased the belt clip and the retractable lanyard for the mini educator. I wasn’t sure which one I wanted to use, but I ended up using both. The belt clip is perfect for clipping on to a pocket and keeping the remote in the same position for easy and quick usage. I didn’t like the belt clip actually being on my belt because I found it to be somewhat uncomfortable. It’s nice quality and feels secure on my pocket.

Bought two of these for couple of my mini Educator’s, love the idea and ease of use yet as other reviewers stated they break to easy. Wish they had an option to get in aluminum or SS. May see if a local shop can make for me. Will see if they can cover the small piece that attaches to your belt clip holder. I have other brand Ecollars and Educator is my go to but never liked lanyards when training.

Worked as advertised more versital than the lanyard in different events teaching your dog.

    10/10
Recommend this for anyone with an educator. I don’t like wristlets or lanyards… this has been super helpful. Easy to use and it has a locking feature so the remote wont fall off. Buy this!!

    Better than lanyard
Good product. Clips to jeans, bag strap etc and easy to push button and remove from clip if needed or operate as is.No issue with robustness.
